Lychee Brandy X.O begins with a distillate base — of 12 kilograms of fresh, fully ripe lychees, hand harvested at peak season for maximum aroma and flavour.
After distillation, the spirit is laid to rest in a combination of French oak casks for structure, gentle vanilla and a touch of spice, and ex-Barbados rum barrels which adds notes of tropical warmth, honeyed molasses, and subtle smokiness.
Aged over 10 years, these barrels transform the clear lychee spirit into a rich golden brandy with a luxurious, rounded character. The slow fermentation allows the lychee’s delicate floral and tropical notes to deepen.
